Recruiting Football Talk VIII

You don’t need to start it hardcore to see results. It could be as simple as no food after 8pm and then eat a late breakfast heavy on protein. Then you can work towards skipping breakfast and eating a big protein lunch. This way you sleep through a lot of it.
Agree with this. Have your first meal around noon, and don't eat after 8pm. Just that small change gives you a pretty easy 16 hours of fasting. Make sure to get plenty of protein, watch the saturated fats, highly processed foods, and simple carbs. And drink as much water as possible.

Wouldn't mind having Ashton Jeanty from Boise State. Dude has Madden Moves. Nearly 500 carries and he hasn't fumbled, averaging 10.3 yds/carry.

He's a little bowling ball. 605lb squat. i don't care if he's only 5'3"..thats some weight

His YPC are definitely high from his crazy amount of explosive runs. And maybe a little bit by the two weaker opponents. Granted, he still ripped a 70 yard TD against Oregon & 64 & 59 yard TDs against Wazzu. He's got 6 rushes of 59 yards or more!

Georgia Southern (3-2, #82 fpi, #95 sp+)
77 td, 26 td 24, 75 td, 18

Wazzu (4-1, #55 fpi, #51 sp+)
19, 59 td, 29, 14 td, 64 td

portland st (0-4, n/a, n/a)
68, 16

oregon (4-0, #9 fpi, #8 sp+)
17, 31, 70 td

So will another injury report come out today that is final? I think I saw on here earlier in the week that they submit 2 and Friday's is final?

Other than the regular SEC road game, Vol BVS, is there another specific reason folks are thinking this is going to be a close game? Again, I think it just comes down to us locking down their running QB and our Oline dominating the line of scrimmage... we succeed in both of those, and we should win by 20+...

DN expects there to be some big changes in the final injury report come today. He thinks that Heupel has been keeping it free of names on purpose to fool Pittman.

I think that's right. Interesting that we've basically done that all year, gashing teams with the run game, and yet they still line up to stop the pass. I do think more passes over the middle would help loosen up defenses.
According to Hubbs, NC State was dead set on stopping the pass. So we gashed them in run game.
Guys of Oak Island could use that for their “top pocket” finds
Man those jokers have wasted a literal fortune for a bag of dog ****. Whoever created Oak Island is upstairs laughing their dicks off.

I think people who are predicting a possibly close game are doing so based off of potential for Arkansas. They can score in bunches and, if they can put it all together for 4 quarters, can hang in there. However, they've done it against lesser competition (OK State is not a good team) and they're going to have to prove they can protect the ball. Tennessee is a bad matchup for them on both fronts.

Came across this NCAAF predictions table today while looking to build some parleys. These guys all have exceptional records. Maybe it could help shape some picks and parleys for others as well. Perhaps we can learn to up the ante on the -500 model to win shorter odds and more $$$.

Are these against the spread or money line?

What's wild to me... Cousins has more career passing yards, TDs, and less career games and ints than Joe Montana...

Imagine if Washington hadn't wasted 3 good years of that man's career?
Cousins wouldn’t have been as good back during that era.
