He's shown plenty of emotions on the sideline. Being calm during a rough patch can be a good thing. Just get back to work.Think my BVS is still flaring up, but anybody else a little put off by Heupels demeanor during the press conference today? Just seems weird to be so laid back, joking, and non bothered by what happened. Not saying he has to be super pissed or going off, but show some passion. A team will take on the personality of their coaches over time.
Yes but you take Sampson over a LBer in almost every matchup. If he hits Sampson quick enough and accurately there's a very very small chance that backer is fast enough to catch him, and the DBs have their backs to that side of the field. To be fair to Nico, he sees the LBer follow Samp to the flats. No way he thinks the LBer would drop his assignment and run back towards the middle of the field. Not sure what that kid was doing.
Agreed. Let Nico loose and make his mistakes (please, not tons of mistakes). We need some of those deep balls and over the middle plays that Hooker made.In that moment he looks open, but there are yet safeties in the area one is fading back and the other was in position to peal back on the ball if thrown. It was at best a toss up ball.
Not going to fault Nico for playing it conservative and trying to get another play in. That was the mode Heupel had him in all night.
Heup is going to have to turn Nico loose now and let him learn. The loss has already happened, you're going to have to beat either Bama or GA and win the rest to have a chance at playoff. Get him ready for next year you make a run.
I was watching a game earlier on Youtube tv Saturday, and it was on "multi-view" with four games. ALL FOUR games were on commercial. I then switched to another multi-view. Yep, all four games were on commercials. I was so disgusted. So, since a 3:30 game now kicks about 3:45 and then with all the commercials, I believe I will start watching with a two hour delay. There are 4 commercials breaks in the 1st and 3rd quarter. Each break lasts 3:35, plus there is an additional break after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th quarter end. There is a postgame recap for a minute or two then more commercials before the next game or show. A short opening segment for the next game and then more commercials.
19 minutes of commercials for 15 minutes of football. . . and that's just 1 quarter. 15 mins for the 2nd & 4th quarters, a commercial break after the 2nd, a short segment after that break and then a few halftime commercial breaks during the halftime show.
About 1hour and 30 mins of commercials per game. I believe it's really probably more than that.
Fans are gonna have to do something. They're only gonna show more until they break the fans. The product sucks because of it and it absolutely effects the flow of the game for both teams and impacts the viewing experience for everyone.
If I didnt like talking with you all live during the game, I probably wouldn't even watch, at least until after halftime, so I could fast forward.
