I appreciate you going through the game again and posting the missed calls. It let's me know my eyes/brain are still working just fine. Maybe it'll help others see what's happening in SEC play and how "blind" the officials are when it comes to calling penalties during TENNESSEE games.

Heupel just confirmed Pili tore his ACL and is out for the season

Feel bad for him. That's the end of his college career. He was solid out there for us. Now the youngsters will have to step up.

I'm hoping someone can confirm but I think we went to 12 personnel in OT. We ran the ball well, were creative with throws and looked unstoppable. I wish CJH would have moved to the 12 per. late in the 4th when we needed a couple of first downs to ice it. It worked against NC State, it did its job at Oklahoma. I think we beat Ark if we use it some. Esp if Bru and Squirrel are limited. JMO.

we ran 12 personnel every play except that final play.

1 RB - Sampson
2 TE - Staes & Kitselman
2 WR - Bru & Thornton

For that last run, we had the jumbo package with Moi as a 2nd FB next to Kitselman.

Staes was lined up at right TE & #94 Nathan Robinson was lined up at left TE. Other than that, line looked the same.

It is always crazy how some players just cannot stay healthy. Pili was a great defensive player and an even better teammate.

That sucks. At least we got Pili back for the first half of this season. I Hate that he missed last year and the rest of this year. He’s been such a key in our early defensive success. He was always in the right run gap and felt like he never lost contain.

I don’t think so. Campbell has chronic knee issues. Don’t think he would hold up much better.

Campbell has been almost as much of a liability as Heard but at least Campbell gives effort and balances out some of his bad plays with good ones but we need to consider playing other guys at this point.
