Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I'm hoping Cameron Carr gets it together and can take some minutes from Gainey. I'm thinking he's going to be our "breakout" player this season. The potential is there.
I liked Carr a lot last year, I think he has the potential to be an Elite shooter, but I don't know if he will ever defend enough to get major minutes.

Vols football definitely the night game team this year. I guess this is what good ratings and winning gets you. Miss State 7:30 or 7:45
I still can't believe Homecoming is going to be a night game.

*Maybe it's not as rare as I think. The reason could be we had so many noon homecoming games in the past, was the level of competition (mostly OOC teams). 🤔

One big reason folks complain is if we're the "primetime" night game they usually load us up with commercials. Something that's more difficult to do for the earlier games because they have to finish them on schedule.
Idk if its true, but there seemed like a lot less commercials during the Bama game than previous games.

*I agree with you, jacking up a bunch of 3s and midrange jump shots is not what I want to see out of this team. **unless they're all going in

Agreed. Florida Tech University Citronauts is way cooler.
Can't believe they ditched a cool name like that for "Knights". . . why are they called Knights?

* originally called "Knights of Pegasus" to represent their connection with space exploration and commitment to excellence, shortened to knights. . .

Bama game was a 3:30pm kick, and that supports my point.

ABC is now showcasing the main SEC games, Bama at TN was before Georgia at Texas so they shortened their commercial breaks to make sure they didn't miss the kickoff for Texas and Georgia.

huh, that makes a lot of sense. Also explains why they have Pegasus on their crest/seal.

Aren't TN walking horses afraid of the dark?
with recent upticks in minimum wage, and to be in line with PetYa, That's PetYa, not Pita, or Peter in a NE Accent. That's People for Escaping Territories (Where) Yetis Are.

TN walking horses are officially the light switch flippers for our lighting system. They also protect us from those abhorrent creatures🤢.

Pissed me off so much being on campus when we sucked. Never got night games unless it was an away game. I think we had like 4 home night games the 4 years I was in Knoxville.
Was finishing up my masters when Dobbs was a senior…I think the only night home game that season was App St 🤣

ESPN/ABC now dictate within a range what time game will be. There is no 3:30 time slot now, I dont believe. Could be that the Diversity is an old wooden ship, from Civil War era.
