Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I hate KY. Kroger field. Bad turf (instead of a grass named for their state). Stupid checkerboards on sleeves. Dork chrome helmets. Zero football tradition (don't give me Bear Bryant).
Ready for their fans to crawl back under the basketball rock, drink that feminine julep BS, and go watch horses run around in circles wearing bowties. I'm insulted they consider us a football rival.
F'ing hate KY.
Tell us how you really feel about the Cats..lol

I interpret that as: "Mike is insanely talented and we want him on the field because he makes us better on offense but there's still some little things he's not doing right and an attention to detail aspect of it that has kept him off the field. If he fixes those things and buys in then he will be huge for us in the final stretch."

Anyone else?
He’s new and there are other more refined players in the room. Once the report with Nico and understanding of scheme/role, along with consistency in technique in all phases of the game, is better than the next person he’ll be the one out there and he’ll be everything we hope he becomes instead of a talented freshman on the field that might make a mistake that costs us.

Squirrel being hurt-ish and nimrod dropping passes is opening the door. He should battle for snaps with brazzell and work his way into the lineup more often backing up the other starters (McCoy/squirrel/thornton). We have a lot of weapons across the wr/te room and it’s a good problem to have. Might not show yet but as the oline gets better as the season goes on (🤞) this offense has all the opportunity to reach its potential.

Ahhhh….I wouldn’t understand. Because of TV ratings we play a lot of night games.

Such a sour puss. Poor me poor me. You’re not 5-2 with top 10 talent because you don’t have a night game. Get over it. Overrated af. One of the easiest schedules in the sec playing only 2 ranked sec teams, the harder of which is at home, and they’ll still probably go 8-4 after massive expectations this year. Losers.

f anyone here suffers from chronic pain, try a TENS unit. You will be shocked by how well it works.
Use one whenever I throw my back out. Works well I agree.

Though I haven't seriously thrown my back out ever since I stopped traditional ab exercises 5 or 6 years ago. No more leg raises, crunches, etc. Just planks, supermen, etc.

I've never heard anyone correlate back issues to crunches.

OU isn't making a bowl game, so I'm not sure they count lol.

We definitely have struggled on the road under Heupel. Hoping UGA is the exception. We win if we play up to our potential.

We really have, the Arkansas game haunts me still.. just do to the nature of them holding the ball most of the first QTR.

It’s a curve that I believe heupel will fix. I forget his home record but it’s pretty extraordinary.

Depends if you’re doing them correctly. Lot of people use hip flexors instead of abdominals cuz they don’t understand how to initiate the movement through the abs. And hip flexors attach…. to the lumbar spine

I've used one off and on for about 10 years.

No, I will have my oldest daughter with me and I don't need her being subjected to that level of atrocity.
She's dealt with you her whole life. I'm much less of an atrocity compared to that. Besides, young people like me. Not sure if it's because of Rudolph or the Mountain Dew commercials. Might be both. But they definitely like me. I don't think you can say the same.

He is almost as big of a clown as Dieon Sanders. Who in the world cares how many night games a team gets? Just play your schedule and shut the hell up.

No question we have been less effective on the road, and have to do better going forward. But ignoring Pitt & LSU in 22 and Oklahoma is just as skewed as trying to ignore Florida or Mizzou last year or Arkansas this year. USC in 22 is a non-issue because they clearly had our signals.

I used to like the Gronk USAA commercials, but they've stretched them too far and they're approaching progressive and liberty levels of dumb. Marketing agency people can't help going back to the well too many times.
