Really, @nicksjuzunk seems to be a really great guy and I always enjoyed his game previews and his other posts. But if he is too busy to write the thread intro, he really needs to give the board a heads up in a timely manner. It's irresponsible to want to keep the task and then neither to perform the task or to let the board know that he can't do it any given week. I'm disappointed. I hope he's ok.

He's super busy. He texted that he had started it but it would be Tuesday before he got it posted. Someone should probably just take it over. I would do it but it would be something like this:

Well, he should have let us know Tuesday morning, then. Like I said, I've always liked the guy; I think everyone does. But @nicksjuzunk needs to give this thread timely notice so someone else can make the thread when he cannot do it. It's not complicated. And no one would fault him for saying he needs a fill-in any given week.

He's making this an issue for no reason at all.

Someone should just take over. No one needs his permission. Someone should just do it.

I propose we put a poll out there and vote on solutions to game day thread. That way no one can say they didn't have a voice in a final outcome. Above all let someone with a passion do it. It makes it more fun. If Nick gets less busy he can resume. No sense stressing each week though.

Plenty of individuals are Superstitious about who makes the game thread. I personally don't care who makes one because whomever makes the thread isn't the reason Tennessee WINS or LOSES.

I know you're joking because I know you, but your wording is such that Nick may take offense and perceive a personal attack if he isn't aware of your style of posting.
