There is no salt in this comment... I'm working two full-time jobs and trying to keep my head above water while keeping my family a family. As I've said before, I can't contribute like I used to and if the forum really wants to take over the thread, I'll bow out. I will always have it up by gametime, but I can't commit to having it done by a certain time before that. Once again, no salt here. It's just the facts of where I am in life, and if the board has different expectations that I can't fulfill, then that is completely ok with me. I don't own anything here. I appreciate the honor of insisting that I do it, and I'll do it, but it's got to fit into my life, because I'm responsible to manage my priorities. :)

Also, I personally consider the "game day thread" subject a joke that's beyond its expiration date. It was fun for a while, but the fact that it was fun last season may instruct us.

Major Proposal:
I personally think this offseason we should hold an official election. There should two parties, the NegaVols and the RationVols. Each party will hold primaries in all the states where posters live. When the delegates are selected each party will hold a convention.

At the RationVols convention an assortment of VFLs and the candidate will speak and the theme will be Make the Game Thread Great Again. They will vote on a platform with issues like, building a wall between the FF and RF, deporting FF illegals, and lowering the cost of Petro's bowls. There will be protester from the FFand LVF outside the convention hall.

At the Negavols convention an speeches will be an array of Zoom calls made by prestigious Negas from their mother's basement or assisted living facilities all over the country and the theme will be Angst and Irrational Doom. The candidate will speak and present their platform covering topics like, firing coaches, the offense is dog sh!t, the defense is hot garbage, losing to backup qbs, and the Georgia St. game. The Negas that could not get in will be protesting outside the arena.

After the conventions there should be a long, hotly contested, election full vicious, hateful, and violent rhetoric. It all ends with election day on last day of media days. The election will be contested. If the RationVols lose they will protest and say that there was election fraud and interference. The NegaVols will contest the election if they win and say they should have won by three touchdowns.

In the end we will all unite and it will be FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE. WWTFA.

Why only two parties? Why not Realivols who vote for rartional, forward thought? But who would go either way?

I get that……

I broke my remote for my tv in college ….. so I stuck of couple of golf shafts together so it was long enough to punch the up/down buttons on the TV from my bed.

Auburn does have more talent but they’ve put up some terrible performances at home already. Public is on AUB ML but +8 Vandy as of right now. Gonna be keeping an eye on this one
