The media will still make the case that Georgia is better than us even after we beat them head to head. They're doing it with alabama right now.


Georgia, Alabama, Texas, even Texas a&m, all need 3 losses to shut up the talking heads and the narrative creators.

That's not a very convincing argument as to why it's a 'joke' to discuss potentials based on known facts. It's like arguing that you can't go ahead and make a home budget unless you have a degree in economics.

And don't you think idle discussion on the internet is even less dangerous than making a home budget.

It's neither ridiculous, nor unreasonable to state that, with hindsight on the season so far, 10-2 doesn't seem like the lock that it felt like before the season started. And to start throwing around insults and calling people 'ignorant' for discussing that possibility on the team's football forum...

That sounds more like your opinion. What you "feel". Which makes your issues here a bit self-refuting.
