Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Miles Kittlesman casually had 97 receiving yards last night, heck of a day for him. If Brazzel and Nimrod held on to those passes then Nico wouldve had close to 450 yards and 3 tds, and we win 42-17, not to mention the 3 missed fg’s.

Other teams are having no problem getting the ball to their talented 5 Star freshmen WR.

They need to figure it out.
TRUST and COMFORT LEVEL are drawbacks to Heupel’s otherwise brilliant acumen. Compare it to Banks and the defense having two sophomore linebackers seamlessly take over for Pili. You GAIN TRUST through repetition. Squirrel can’t raise his arms above head level, but trot him out there anyway. Ollie Lane begat Dayne Davis as limited players who had Heupel’s confidence. Can’t convince me that one of these freshmen or even Brian Grant or Bussell couldn’t seal some leaks. Payton Lewis flashed some talent when Bishop got dinged up. Be nice to use our own talent instead of portal shopping for players who learned somewhere else.

Seldon didn’t play yesterday. Instead Lewis was the KR.
He wasn’t on the injury report.
He’s played in 4 games and only burns his redshirt if he plays in a 5th.

The math tells me Seldon is taking a redshirt. And likely transferring.

The lol is at the idea that by not returning kicks, it’s as if he did not play and that the game will not count as one of his 4.

People want to get mad or say “lol” cause they have a family member on the board.

Kid got injured and fell behind. It’s no one’s fault, it’s tough that it happened that way, but at the end of the day it is what it is.

Wish the kid nothing but the best if he does leave. Same with Keith, some people just dont see the writing on the wall for some kids.

Or people want to laugh at the insane idea that fair catching a kick doesn’t count as being on the field.

Sampson is 5 from breaking the career record for rushing TDs…crazy man.

It’s even crazier when see that he only had 13 coming into this season.

Sampson is 8 TDs away from being in the top 10 in school history for single season TDs. (QBs and RB Positions)
- Milton is tied at 10th with 27 TDs

Sampson is 10 TDs away from being in the top 10 in school history for most career TDs. (QB and RB positions)
- Streeter is 10th with 42 TDs

Is Miles now our starting TE? I don’t remember seeing Davis play last night.

Announcers never mentioned him returning kicks. We don’t really do that anymore anyway.
Kickoffs all go thru end zone or are downed and in punts we either fair catch them or move out of the way from them and let them roll.

Another Sampson appreciation post. He hasn’t always had it in his repertoire but he incorporated that spin move last night and must have tacked on 50+ yards with it. It was so smooth and deadly. I don’t remember seeing that last few years.
Sampson signature move has been the spin move well before last night. Nothing new.

You’re missing the point entirely

It’s just not working out for him.
