Nope..should have been at least 55...if just 2 of the easy missed FGs had landed.I'll take 28-18 all day long. With 3 dropped touchdown passes that could have easily been 49.
GB!
Fun that the entire offense participated so directly in Sampson's record breaking TD! Even Nico flew to the pile and pushed.
It's like grocery shopping when you are starving. If you do not have discipline and emotional maturity then you should stay away from posting in the game thread. Just like you should stay away from grocery shopping when you are hungry if you have no discipline.Need to discontinue Game Threads, they're nothing but a complaint forum .
I may have bad takes occasionally but good grief..
He did have a great block on a WR screen yesterday. All the tools are there. He needs time to develop. I don't think that is a bad thing. From what I remember coaches are saying (with different words) that Matthews isn't picking up the offense. He could be reading the defense wrong and running the wrong route. I don't know the play book so I won't speculate how difficult it is.
WR talent is NOT dynamic. At all. No reason to have insane talent, and not use it. Which gets to 2nd grievance. Halzle does NOT prepare this offense. Game plans seem to be dook. I mean, two open dates...what the hell did they do?
Where is Nico running on 3rd down? Designed run on RPO? Throw on slant?
Our WR's are big and physical but no game changers. I dont know man. Got to find a way to insert some new looks.
Love the development of TE's though.
That's because the argument is pure fantasy. It's posters that want to feel more connected to what's happening out there. They see the end result that is easy to see; the scoreboard. Then they feel compelled to come up with solutions. I would love...love for these posters to actually be given the opportunity to "devise the gameplan and prepare the offense" against an SEC defense so I could laugh my a$$ off at how embarrassing it would be.I just don’t understand this argument. Bru and Thornton are dudes that many, many teams would want on their teams. They played well. The issue is not talent- the issue is catching the football by others. We have guys running open- last night, against Bama, against UF, against Arkansas. Make the plays when they are there. They would be different games. I also saw some 2022 wrinkles last night that we haven’t seen much this year. Got TE’s open down the seam.
Maybe I’m watching a different channel than some of you.
Bama didn't make the 2022 playoffs. And last year Bama didn't have a head-to-head win over FSU. You said that the committee would ignore a head-to-head win between teams with identical records. That's never happened.Literally 22 when they put bama over us and last year when they put bama in over FSU
Should, no doubt. Should. But I really think LSU could lose a 3rd game regardless and I don’t trust the committee to value head to head (common sense). The best solution is just beating Georgia’s ass. Vandy in current state would be a nice road win. So 10-2 may be just fine.If LSU loses they are out of playoffs and if TN and ALA both finish with 2 loses TN would get the playoff spot based on head to head match up?
