Sounds about right. Big receiver, pretty sure he likes contact… but he’s not wrong. Easy completion are a great way to warm up a young QB but also makes the umbrella cover 2 look open up by inching the safeties forward…Bru said once that he feels like it improves our passing game to run plays early where we can "soften up" the corners and let them be the ones taking the hits. I think "soften up" was his phrase; if not, some similar euphemism.
Soo...what would you do? Just let them continue to do whatever they were doing that caused this mess? I highly doubt this all happened because they were just doing nothing wrong..I dont think the charge of 'to protect and serve' is ever perverted to 'beat the hell out of a defenseless person.' Likely intoxicated at that.
I think Bru has in mind, in addition, punishing the DBs with physical blocks, wearing them down, and asserting some dominance. As compared to taking their hits and comments.Sounds about right. And my son in law and one of my closest friends are deputies and are both salt of the earth.Cops are just a legal gang.
Wish they had a better system of hiring people. “Background checks” aren’t working.
My fiancés sister is dating a cop in Nashville, total ****ing douche that loves having power and making fun of the people he comes across every night
And these are puppy and lizard ppl we are talking about here. Who knows what level of degeneracy was taking place before they had to wack'em in the head a few times.Exactly
I see people making the point about ‘22…In 2022, they put Bama at 5 and us at 6 with same records even though we beat them.
Unfortunately, last year showed how influential ESPN is in the process. I don’t think there is any doubt that ESPN wanted Bama for ratings. ESPN was pushing the Bama narrative the last Saturday as games were being played. Plus, Heather Dinich is the committee mouth piece, and she was preparing her story as to why the committee picked Bama.
