Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Chaplain's scenario reads "if we beat Georgia and lose to Vandy".

He's asking theoretically if a big win and meh loss is better or worse than a meh win and lack of an additional big win.

Hard to say, but we're good either way. Just win 3 out of 4 down the stretch. Nor is Alabama eliminated by having lost to a good Vandy team. They just need to win out, already with 2 losses.
Against my better judgement I will entertain this. I don't care if if we beat the 1999 Rams, if we lose to Vandy it is over just like it is for Bama. Regardless, we are beating both Georgia and Candy, you people need to get over this 10-2 🐎💩. It's a new day and all this crap we've been forced to swallow is over. WGWTFA in everything.

Did you read the question? Your response indicates that you didn’t. Or that you didn’t grasp it.

Also, Alabama didn’t eliminate themselves with a loss to Vanderbilt. The fact that they are in the playoff right now is patent proof of that.
I read fine and I comprehend very well. I don't give a 💩 who else we beat, if we lose to Vandy we are out, Period. And Alabubba is dead, hello Citrus Bowl. That stupid committee shot its wad getting the Bammers in last year, and just like in other things everyone is watching now and that crap is over. When Bama loses to LSU they will be going to the Birmingham Bowl.
But it doesn't matter and this is a stupid discussion, we ain't losing to Vandy, we ain't losing to Georgina. WGWTFA.

According to the committee Alabama is in currently. A loss to LSU should put them out though. That’s what we need at this point.

A close loss to UGA might still get us in but a loss to Vandy sends us packing imo.
If we lose to anyone we don't deserve to be in and believe me that stupid committee will not give us the benefit of doubt. When I heard that Gary Pinkel and some chick sports writer who specializes in soccer was on it I was out. I say we just kick everyone's azz and not leave it up to the View to decide our fate.

Oh for craps sake...all he did was stuck his hands out to keep him from running into him, he didn't hit him, BVs momentum is what made it look hard...this is some stupid sissyfied 🦬💩.

🤬🤬🤬🤬
I hear Vandergriff is out with a strained labia too, weird. Must be something in Kroger U's training regimen.

Nah we're out at 9-3. We would have to have florida's schedule to get in with 3 losses
Why in the 🔥 are you people talking about losing. It is morning in America, it is a new day. Don't waste the good times talking about losing. We are the freaking best team in the country. Did the Bammers talk like this when they were king? Let them talk about losing, Anchor Down. Some of you people need to get jobs at the DNC or MSNBC.

When I saw that during the game and they showed the replay, I remember saying Vandagriff put a bit of a flop on that one to draw a penalty.

Putting the arms out there was a little bit more than simple bracing, and was dumb, but the force of the backwards flop definitely was not correlated with the force of impact. And the straight arms would have shown more flex in an impact that knocked him back that hard.
Stoops is a labia, pure and simple.

It’s unfortunate that CJH has discovered and been corrupted by the Dad Joke epidemic. He is telling Dad jokes over the helmet system before every play. Hopefully the team will have an intervention this week and get it sorted out.

😂😂
So what you're saying is our struggling offense can be traced directly back to @drvenner ?? 🤔

UT - 14
LSU - 13

The #1 Tigers and Billy Cannon traveled to Knoxville, and only once in 11 previous games had an LSU team defeated Tennessee, and Tennessee again had bad news for LSU.

The Tigers overwhelmed the Volunteers statistically—outgained them 334 yards to 112—but, by letting a cornerback named Jim Cartwright steal a pass and scoot 59 yards for a touchdown and by fumbling to provide Tennessee another scoring opportunity, found themselves behind 14-7 in the last quarter. Then a Tennessee fumble at the two resulted in a quick LSU touchdown and a noteworthy decision by Coach Paul Dietzel: to go for two points and victory.

Tennessee's Coach Bowden Wyatt jumped up and down and bellowed a warning, unheard by his team in the uproar, to watch out for Cannon. He could have saved his breath. Well-drilled for Cannon's patented off-tackle slants, the Vols were, as Wyatt said later, "mentally stacked up over there. We had 11 people thinking about that hole. That's where LSU has found the white meat all year."

Through bloody lips Tackle Wayne Grubb yelled, "He's coming on the power play," as LSU lined up. Cannon slammed into the line and was smothered 18 inches from the goal.

It was over…..UT had defeated the #1 team in the country for the first time in school history.
