I used to always take my truck and buy a couple of scoops at a time. Usually takes me about 8 or so scoops to do all my beds. By the time I made all the back and forth trips plus all the work shoveling etc, I've gone to waiting for Lowes to put their bag mulch on sale for 2.99 per bag. I can put a pallet load of this on a trailer, drive around the yard/house and unload the bags as I go. Pour them out and do a little spreading/raking and...........wa-la done! We prefer the black mulch and it now runs $35-40 per scoop around here. The worst part imo, is now your neighbors are gonna think you're a Georgia fan.
@TrippieRedd you gotta shoot us straight man. Please tell me you at least dumped this mulch in a whole different area. So as not to see the difference. That or you had some different color smokes than I familiar with during your break.
Agree. Have done it both ways and unless I had a tractor with a scoop would not do loads again.I used to always take my truck and buy a couple of scoops at a time. I found the look you're going for.I’d probably end up going back and getting brown that’s finer than the other two.
Have 3 different colors and 3 different sizes
That’s a little to fine for me.I found the look you're going for.
I'll just leave this for people to follow if they so choose...
