If it were to be gaston Saturday, I have no doubt he can beat uga with his arm. The thing about him that concerns me is A) he has never even thrown a pass outside of Neyland Stadium (no, mop up duty against nc state and vandy ‘22 dont count) and B) he is not nearly as mobile as Nico is, and thats just one less thing for uga to worry about

I’m just tired of officiating in our games period. Only game it seemed to be called fairly both ways with equal missed calls was Bama. The rest of our games it is egregious. We will probably get Ken Williamson and his crew again Saturday night. Georgia will maul our DL and WRs all night and never be called for a single holding or PI. Go ahead and be prepared for it.

Ole Miss has a much worse loss than we do. They lost to a terrible UK team at home! Just don’t see how you put them in before us, IF we lose this week, unless we get throttled by Georgia. I sure hope that doesn’t happen. We need this week to be a win or less than 3 point loss at worse.

It will all depend on how much they’re allowed to hold our DL.

We will need to get much more creative with our play calling if he plays. Also gonna have to run the zone read with him a lot and let him keep it some.

While I agree. To your point, Samford has been added onto and is apparently formidable place to play. We dont handle adversity well. Josh's teams havent play well in hostile places. Now is the time to change that.

On the other hand, 5th year Sr. Focus on the running game. Use designed qb runs to extend drives.

Most importantly, with exception of UTEP you have to find a way to get into the endzone.

Right now, FG's wont cut it.

It seemed like MSU DB's were coached to do that very thing. Taking chances on a no call. And you know, they were right 50% of the time.

Same for holds. I cannot think of one hold call in MSU game against them.

I agree. Even if it’s a concussion alone there’s still a lot of doubt. The recovery time isn’t always the same. Maybe the collarbone is also an issue but on the non throwing arm. Who knows? Heupel can keep this thing questionable until warmups on Saturday.

It is going to be difficult to win even with Nico. Without him is a picture I don’t want to paint.

They were called for one offensive holding early in the game, and I don’t remember that there was ever another one after that.

I’m in see-it-to-believe-it mode when it comes to big-time road games. I thought Oklahoma was that game, but it’s now clear that they’re not good (not to mention the Arkansas debacle that followed). On the plus side, UGA is definitely not the juggernaut they have been. Hopefully, I’ll be a believer by this time next week.

They were called for defensive holding, I recall that. Because we were called for holding in same time, offsetting.

It just has to be our scheme. No other teams use this system. 😳🫤
