I don't think it is that dissimilar with fundamentals like Jack Mckinney taught. Ball movement shooting volume etc. It will honestly work great in a league where shooting is pretty bad on the whole. Instead of taking more methodical shots that still have a low probability of going in take triple. Also by running teams to death you take away some of their best players because they will need rest. Can’t wait till the lady Vols play a decent team.
Curious to see how they do then.
Went over to my papaw’s house the other day to visit and started talking about Lady Vols basketball (huge fan) and for some reason he does not like how they play lol
“Just run and gun throwing shots up, no set plays. Hates how they switch every 4 minutes, says there’s no flow. Kept saying it won’t work against the better teams.”
**And yes, I know they played UNC in a scrimmage, heard their coach sucks and is on the hot seat, so that doesn’t hold much weight for me**

Reflect on how Edey was neutralized by Dan Hurley. They never let him set.
I personally think it will be entertaining and more successful than trying to keep up with recruiting of the top programs.
Sampson isn't gonna win the Heisman but there's a good chance he will be an All-American this year. Would be our first All-American RB since Travis Stephens in 2001.
I don’t think Sampson will over take Johnson, sadly. He's 7th for rushing yards on the season with 1129
Now tied for 3rd for rushing TDs on the season with 20
Jeanty is clearly having the best season for a RB this year, but against far inferior competition. I think the biggest roadblock for Sampson to even be a finalist for the Heisman is actually Kaleb Johnson at Iowa. They're not having a great season, but he's having a great season and against Big 10 competition.
If Dylan has a Travis Stephens at Florida type game (200+ 2 TDs) that leads us to a win then he might at least put himself in NY as a finalist.
She has the right work ethic and accountability. She has a system that has clearly worked. The rest will follow and if nothing else we will see consistency. The only real concern i have in the short term is the new coaching staff and her inevitable need for maternity leave. It will get sorted out long term, but it could cause some early issues since the coaching team is new to one another and the team. I think it is a great example for the young women on the team though to have family and career. Most will juggle the same.Yeah I don’t necessarily agree with him. Need to see how they do after her first year.
I think if anything, it’s weird for me not seeing set plays and the “usual” game.

30 less carries, 200 more yards rushing, no fumbles, etc.
Johnson: 7.1 average
Sampson: 5.6 average
Luckily we have two coaches that could take over and not see too much of a drop off (Roman and Lazo)She has the right work ethic and accountability. She has a system that has clearly worked.
