Yeah. And I was also kinda surprised by some people here thinking viewership was against us. We consistently rank as one of the top college football TV draws this year. Also, it's manifestly unjust and illogical. If you say team x got more viewers the last year or last decade, therefore they need to be "socially advanced" a grade, then face the fact that ratings follow as a result of being associated with the playoffs previously. Imagine our ratings once we hit playoff stature.

I didn’t pay much attention week to week last year since we were out, but she was predicting the rankings.

But she was being used by ESPN as one of, if not the expert when discussing the rankings. It was pretty clear to me they used her to justify the Bama pick, and she had some access to the room.

We squeeze by mediocre teams because of defense. If the offense would’ve taken care of business we would be having a different convo. Reality is, if our defense wasn’t this good our record would probably be around 4-4.

Also, when the announcer last night says, “Miss St averages more points in the SEC than UTs offense does”, that’s an issue

I’m sure this has already been said but,

They have TWO losses, we have 1
WE beat them head to head

There is no way to spin that to make it make sense.

Also, we are a really good TEAM. The defense is a huge part of that. You can’t say “if our defense wasn’t this good”, because it is this good. That’s like saying Georgia wouldn’t have won two championships if their athletes weren’t so good.

We should be ahead of Alabama in every poll and every ranking, period

Ole Miss lost to a team (LSU) that got blitzed at home by a team we beat (Bama) and also lost to a bad team at home (UK) that we beat.

UGA lost to a team we beat.

If your post means you’re taking into account Ole Miss beating ARK while we lost to them, you must also take into account these things.
