I'll be honest, I thought the BCS worked pretty well.

Too many ADs and Commissioners didn't like that it removed their opinion though.

You could just use the BCS to rank for the CFP... but again it removes a lot of subjectivity from the mix and those blowhards don't like it.

I thought the BCS did use the coaches, AP, and one other poll.

It doesn’t get talked about enough nationally what Heupel has done for this program. I remember hearing and believing the narrative that it would take 5 years just to be competitive in the SEC. He has beaten Florida twice, beaten Alabama twice, had us on the verge of making the playoffs two times now, and ranked as high as number one. All in 4 seasons. We have the right coach, finally.

I think we absolutely have the right guy.

Here’s a nice thought experiment: Take your pick of any FB coach we’ve had in the last 50 years and have them coach this weekend for us.

Now, are you more or less confident?

Personally, I can’t name a single one I’d rather have more than Heupel.
