I was supporting you and asking you a seperate question cause you seem to know ball. I am trying a small bet strategy on ball and need a sure thing low odds pick to toss into a large parlay of favorites.@DD4ME hes a good player no doubt
We have a handful like him on our squad and just signed another. Not sure it’s a position of need but what do I know
Not really, because under my view the CFP would by the top 2 teams (winner and runner up) from each conference plus the next 4 out. So you wouldn’t get 12 SEC teams in there. And what you’re arguing against is basically what’s happening in the current format. Teams with easy schedules (BYU, IU, etc.) are getting ranked above teams who are both better in talent and have tougher schedules all because they’re undefeated in their easy schedules. There’s literally no rewarding winning games that matter or opponents that matter, you’re just subjectively looking at teams and saying “well they’re undefeated, they must be really good. Let’s give them a berth.” Or “well they’ve been good in the past, so by tradition they must be in. Plus they’ll sell tickets.” It’s a terrible process and makes zero sense. But all schedules aren't created equal. This ain't the NFL. There are huge differences in these conferences in terms of the number of quality teams. You literally had the best teams from the Big 12 and Pac 12 leave their conferences for others. Why should anybody challenge themselves with a tough schedule if only winning matters rather than the context of who you played?
Under your world view the SEC should go to 0 conference games and have their teams play nothing but Group of Five teams. Just winning matters right? That way the entire 12 team playoff field is just undefeated SEC teams that played soft schedules.
only watched the exhibition, bits and pieces of GW, and part of todays game. Guess I was wrong, thought of him as more of a guy to create his own shot.19, 18, and 13 in 3 games while learning new teammates and system doesn't meet your expectations?
He played 8 minutes in first half tonight due to 2 fouls. ZZ sat with 2 as well in first half. He's played great since Louisville. Top scorer at Louisville and second place tonight.
Igor had a double double.
Barnes has always held his most talented guys to a high standard. I think the whole playing time bench deal is Rick proving a point. Lanier is good.
