Would not want a play by play, but the VQ crew is like a local TV show. The quality might lack, but it's your local show. There will be a time when those dissappear.
Play it on the field. Ain’t nothing dumb about that.It works in the FCS because there isn't as wide a gap in talent. The FCS is filled with 0 star players across the board. Compared to the FBS where Group of Five teams have nothing but 2-star players while the best SEC and Big 10 teams are filled with 4 and 5-star players. It's that gap in talent that results in blowout September wins for Power Four teams every year.
Your suggestion was once again just dumb.

The whole idea was to simply the stupid f’ing playoff criteria. We already do in September. And those Group of Five teams USUALLY get boat raced by the Power Four teams. So why privilege a team that would get demolished if they played an SEC schedule because they play a weaker schedule? It makes no logical sense.
The BCS never used the computers exclusively. It was a combo of human polls and computers. A good balance of human and robot. I think that model would have worked well for us by the end of this season.2nd picture is the computers. Still 4 spots lower than even modern analytics tend to have us (9th). Not sure we'd want BCS computer models this season deciding things lol.
Even a 50/50 weighting between the committee and BCS algos this year and we'd be in a bad spot.

Don't take the bait @peaygolf.The whole idea was to simply the stupid f’ing playoff criteria.
Never said it’s perfect.
Strength of schedule will never be equal……and why should a team get screwed because the teams on their schedule suck?
Let’s be honest……Tennessee’s schedule ain’t that great….1 win over a current ranked team.
NCSU and Oklahoma suck. Kent is the worst team in FBS.
