Feel for both girls involved in that fiasco. I feel difficulty score should already be tallied and agreed to before they ever begin though. Submit your routine and get the difficulty approved, then if you miss any element it can be deducted but maximum score should already be determined.

They do, but sometimes a gymnast doesn't do the half twist they planned on (for example), so the difficulty goes down. That doesn't affect the execution score because they may have nailed the triple layout where they omitted the half twist.

The fact that there has to be a manual review initiated and there's a time limit is ridiculous. The judges should be holding themselves accountable and not relying on teams to file appeals. Have someone reviewing every routine to make sure judges didn't screw up. A 1 minute max to file an appeal is so stupid.

Asinine process added to an already dubious process of using opinions to decide who wins. If the Russians taught us anything, it's not to trust international judges in gymnastics and figure skating.

I do think the net result in this case was right, because the other girl's team missed their appeal window as well for another error by the judges, and if everything had been done perfectly, Chiles would be 4th. Just took a lot of stupidity to get there in this situation.

Olson one season from 50+ homers and AA isn’t dumping Albies. Doubt Riley is either. Arcia, Ozuna and one of the outfield spots outside of Acuna and Kelenic. Might be time to work one of their catching prospects behind Sean Murphy or unload Murphy with his friendly contract. I’ll admit I’m prolly being overly cautious and AA’s truth is somewhere in the middle.

Pretty sure Butchna still has me blocked, but my .02 on the Braves. Injuries have destroyed this season. Need to focus on next season. My opinion, the Braves need to find a way to resign Fried. Then either trade for or sign a SS. Return everyone healthy, and hope next year goes better. Building your bullpen is a yearly thing for just about every team, so of course you have to find bullpen arms as well.

Hope and pray Dodgers tell their star players No Way in Hell. MLB already plays a World Baseball Classic don't need to play in Olympics when you prove whose best every two years already.

I agree with the opinion of the poster who said it should be like an U23 thing where players are pulled from college and the minors. Surely MLB would be okay with pulling from the minor leagues.

And, while I agree to an extent on Albies ($575K?), i've not been excited about Olsen, since D1. That's my opinion, it doesn't have to be right, or even be reasonable.

Whether he left for his own reason, or we let him go. Olsen was Freeman replacement. Does $22 Mill per get us top 5 guy? Olsen has hit close to .300 once, last year. Rest of time it's the Andruw Jones swing-and-amish, or jack approach.

Teams can go out and get the big fish. There's nothing wrong with making a move. But making weak moves is just that.

If they play well here, they will get drafted. Stop trying to find something to complain about. There were other groups that played worse. LB has left a lot to be desired. Hopefully Inge corrects that.

If you've been satisfied with the DB play since WM was hired, then good for you.

I'm still waiting for DBs to look for the ball and play tighter coverage without the big cushion against our better competitors.

Please don't use the "WM has not had enough time to develop or get the players he needs yet" excuse. He has!

I think someone will take Moore as UDF . I think he will be a really good backup. Probably really good at reading a defense and makes really accurate throws. And dang good VFL .

I think his next step is In coaching.

Now do one where somebody 2 and half hours away from where you live has a camper for sale, makes an appointment with you to see the camper in 3 hours, and has your phone number...and sells it to someone else 30 minutes before you get there..and doesn't even have the decency to call and tell you.

That was infuriating.

There was a guy in maryville do that to a buddy of mine. Dude had an old camper he was selling for like $500. My buddy drove in from a couple hours out after talking to him the night before. I think my buddy even made it there to the trailer park where he was selling it and the dude had just sold it.

It was a d*ck move. I think the dude did it to a couple people on the same camper. He ended up saying first with cash can get it. He shouldn't've made appointments.

I almost don't blame the dude, since so many people show up and try to get stuff for nothing, dont have the cash, want to make payments or just don't show up at all. Still a d*ck move.

AP on TOS has said multiple times that Gaston Moore is a quality back up that could win TN a game or two against the right opponent, if necessary (I.e. Nico got injured and Merklinger wasn’t ready)

He’s not a long term option.

The Vols QB room now reminds of when USC had a great QB get drafted and then the backup QB went in like the 3rd Rd. . . then the next year they just reloaded another great QB underclassmen as the starter.
