People let themselves forget that this was still Georgia, a gut check for them in a road night game playing for their playoff lives. Expectations for us to just come in and walk them got way too high.

Tonight could have happened no matter what. Good teams get pissed and answer when they lose. Georgia had that in them. We knew that.

Losing at Arkansas ultimately compromised the path to Atlanta and the path to the playoff.

Winning in Athens was going to be a tall task no matter what. Add to it they came off a major letdown against Ole Miss.


This was made to be their spot.

We were not supposed to lose to Arkansas. Now we will really feel the pain of that loss

They adjusted to let us deliver body shots and work our way to mid field, then tighten on us and we crapped our pants.

We were good for 3 first downs per drive. That was it.

They let us think we were doing something on offense every drive in the 2nd half and then they'd pull the rug out from under us. That was the most disheartening part

Absolutely! Finishing with 11 wins and beating Bama for the second time in 3 years shouldn't be taken for granted.

But we have to make some changes to take the next step and keep the momentum going.

I never expected us to beat Georgia in Athens. Happy we beat Bama & Florida as well as winning at OU.

OL & WR play set this offense behind. Dylan having an elite year helped more than people give credit, without him probably staring at 3 or 4 losses right now.

Agreed. Nico is miles ahead than where he was 2 weeks ago. If anything I think we proved we belong in the top 12. What team goes into Georgia tonight in that environment and wins?

Not a lot of false starts so I think they handled the road well. That being said they were able to force Nico out of the pocket with only the 3 or 4 down lineman rushing. Biggest difference in the teams is the line of scrimmage.
