As I said before, not a ref blamer. We lost that game on our own volition. But the refs blatantly aided UGA on their go ahead scoring drive - a drive that should’ve ended in a punt, and us getting the ball midfield. It’s a travesty that continues to happen.

It wasn't a facemask. The announcers tried to defend the call, but it was not a facemask. And truthfully, I thought there was other bad calls as well, but that one changed the course of the game IMO. That said, I think the biggest reason for the loss was the defense's inability to pressure Beck. We know he crumbles under pressure. We know their OL was a MASH unit. Yet Banks was still unable to scheme up anything to get pressure on Beck. It pisses me off. We made Beck look like a superstar.

When Rui comes back he has to take Cam’s spot in the starting lineup imo. DK gotta get better on D, but his offense is lethal rn and something that the lakers can’t win without.

The only way we had a real shot at the playoffs was to win out......period. When last week they put Indiana and BYU ahead of us and the reasons they gave why spoke volumes. It is what it is and has always been, every since the Trailer Park Frenzy.

Poor officiating kept that one Georgia scoring drive alive. That was not a facemask.

But our defensive line failed us tonight as well. There was no pressure on Beck. He had all day to throw. I blame Banks for not scheming up more blitzes. At the very least, he should have made halftime adjustments to get pressure on Beck. You can't let him just sit back there and deal. No excuse for being out schemed by Bobo.

Can’t disagree with this.
Beck has proven to be turnover prone under pressure.
Should of been some adjustments to the game plan when pressure wasn’t happening

I said in the basketball forum that they should trade Dlo, Reddish, and whatever pick they have in the upcoming draft, trade those for an actual PG.

I said somebody like Jaden Ivey or Dennis Schroeder. Some may say “Nets would never do that” but I don’t know, they don’t have much capital or any picks (I don’t think) so it could be enticing.

Yup their OL and Beck played up to their full potential tonight and all we can do to that is tip the cap. We should’ve made more adjustments, but they had a great scheme. That’s really the source of the loss, along with our offense not being able to finish drives. All that said, we continue to be boned by the Bham office in key spots. We’re on the road in prime time against the most talented team in the nation. They cant be benefitting from ghost flags with all this. Thats an unwinnable spot.

Yeah I love Reaves but he isn’t a true PG. I’m fine with him playing it late in games, but they need a true feeder up there for the bulk of action - and AR is elite creating off ball or off screen action.

Obvious disclaimer with this, if not known: I’m a huge LeBron/Lakers/now DK fan lol

Not at all, but a little s/o to him. He has been really great at creating his own shot this season and done it with good efficiency. The pistons have been a fun league pass watch for me so far.

We need to upgrade our linebackers and WRs this offseason in a big way. We have to pay for the premier pass catcher this offseason, our WRs are very below average. Our LBs got exposed in a major way tonight, I’m afraid opponents will exploit them going forward. Overall tonight sucked bad

I think we’ll be fine at the end of the season as long as we handle business. Teams did not look as strong as their ranking today.

Just need someone more consistent at the guard position than Russell.
