I see the defense is the talk of site and they deserved the criticism tonight but the offense wasn't any better. 17 points was never going to be enough to beat Georgia. Throwing only 2 deep balls all game wasn't going to be Georgia. Not kicking the FG or going for it on their 36 on that 1st possession of the 2nd half wasn't going to beat Georgia. The offense wasn't good enough and frankly hasn't been all season.

Defense had a bad day at the office. This is their first bad game this season. Without them this year we have 2 more losses. 5th SEC game throwing under 200 yards. Plenty of blame to go around.

Let's beat the brakes off UTEP next week, destroy Candy the following week and let the chips fall where they fall.

Not really. BYU is currently in the Big 12 champion spot. Big 12 champ makes it in, no matter what. Whether it's BYU or Colorado or some other Big 12 school.

I think that thought process is, if BYU goes into that game undefeated and loses, theyre still in. If they go in with 1 loss and lose than theyre out.

Can’t believe we didn’t have a turnover or score a point in the second half.

That second half unfolded very strangely. The game flow was terrible.

Once we had that 15 play drive and punted I knew it was over. Who does that.

The refs took away the fumble we recovered...didn't even so much as review it

All the while Matt (sec henchman) Austin explained how he didn't have possession while watching him adjust, tuck the ball, turn upfield, etc.

It wasn't a facemask. The announcers tried to defend the call, but it was not a facemask. And truthfully, I thought there was other bad calls as well, but that one changed the course of the game IMO. That said, I think the biggest reason for the loss was the defense's inability to pressure Beck. We know he crumbles under pressure. We know their OL was a MASH unit. Yet Banks was still unable to scheme up anything to get pressure on Beck. It pisses me off. We made Beck look like a superstar.

I’m just appalled that Banks made no adjustments and didn’t bring any extra pressure outside maybe two times in the second half.

Yeah, I don't agree. I think only one Big 12 team makes it. Same with the ACC. I think what benefits us is either Notre Dame, one of the Big 10 teams, or one of the other SEC teams stumbling. That's where we could potentially find a spot.

For UT to have a chance to get in, the ACC and Big 12 for certain need to be 1 bid leagues.
