? For yall. I honestly don’t know how it works. What if Boise wins out, Army wins out including beating Notre Dame. Could a 2 loss big 12 champ just get left out of the playoffs entirely if they rank behind the two G5 champs? Or does the Big 12 champ have a guaranteed spot?

Nico played great and he deserved his billing. defense carried the team most of the season but didn’t have a good night tonight. This was a time the offense should’ve carried and they didn’t. Heupel called a great game the 1st quarter and idk what happened after that.

I graded them for the ass kicking they gave tonight. They blitzed the safety, the corner, both inside and outside linebacker. They shifted, they were aggressive. Banks rushed 4 down linemen, all night, every play regardless of down and distance or field position. He did this against 6 and 7 blockers. He never adjusted. He looks good when he can get pressure with 4. If he can't he's toast. Always has.

Yeah he had a bad game. But again this was just one game in a season where his defense has looked dominant.

You said for a championship defensive staff to look to UGA. But they were absolutely lost vs Bama, also just one game this season.

B12 champ would be 6-6 in the SEC. Absolutely not. Mega conferences made it inevitable - we need a 30-50 team league where everyone plays each other and 16 teams make the playoffs. The lid is off and it’s the only way to ensure fair play and no shenanigans.

Just frustrated with the result and a bit tired of losing in the road. It’s understandable but I’m still happy with where the program is. Would be insane to not be considering where we came from
