Just curious why you’re grading UGA’s defensive staff on a different scale (and saying they’re great) than you’re grading UT’s. Both have had a bad game.

I graded them for the ass kicking they gave tonight. They blitzed the safety, the corner, both inside and outside linebacker. They shifted, they were aggressive. Banks rushed 4 down linemen, all night, every play regardless of down and distance or field position. He did this against 6 and 7 blockers. He never adjusted. He looks good when he can get pressure with 4. If he can't he's toast. Always has.

Yeah he had a bad game. But again this was just one game in a season where his defense has looked dominant.

You said for a championship defensive staff to look to UGA. But they were absolutely lost vs Bama, also just one game this season.

B12 champ would be 6-6 in the SEC. Absolutely not. Mega conferences made it inevitable - we need a 30-50 team league where everyone plays each other and 16 teams make the playoffs. The lid is off and it’s the only way to ensure fair play and no shenanigans.

BYU losing opens door wide open for Colorado or Arizona State to win Big 12.

BYU losing just assures only 1 berth for Big 12 in CFP playoffs. Helps Tennessee in that way but Vols need for Mississippi or Texas A&M to lose to assure them of the 4th SEC playoff slot.

But keep an eye on Ole miss at Florida next weekend and Texas at aTm week after... And OSU to obliterate IU next weekend... None of that is super far fetched either.

But until then... Tuesday night probably won't be a ton of fun. I fully expect us to be out of it on the next rendition.

Can’t believe we didn’t have a turnover or score a point in the second half.

That second half unfolded very strangely. The game flow was terrible.

Once we had that 15 play drive and punted I knew it was over. Who does that.

I get their losses are to two “top 5 teams” but I’m sorry 2 losses in conference in the big 10 should send you packing

I think when they lost to Oregon they only dropped from #2 to #3. Polls would just switch them places with IU.

My fear for tonight is getting screwed. If we play bad and lose, it will suck, but it will be easier to take. If we see lots of bad calls and lose, that will really sting. Call it paranoia or whatever you want, but I don't trust officiating not to screw us over.

Absolutely but at the end of the day the second quarter still happened. That’s what truly loss is the game. The defense folded and gave up a 10 point lead

Bama scored 11 points in the 2nd half of that game. They had 547 yds of total offense on the night; but, only 191 of it was in the 2nd half, and 75 of that 191 was Williams' TD.

UGA makes adjustments in-game/at halftime, we don't. In-game/halftime adjustments is where great/elite coaches separate themselves from really good/good coaches. And, as much as people wished it were not so, and some have even convinced themselves he isnt, Kirby is a great/elite coach...one reason being, he is a master with how he adjusts during games and halftime, coupled with the game plans they bring into the games.
