Are they expecting another loss from a team inside of the field? That is the question I’m interested in. Almost everyone suspects the BIG10 to get 4 and the SEC to get 4 as well. If the SEC can get 5 that is a win.
ok He is not costing CJH his job. I don't understand the lack of adjustments and this scheme can have blitz because we have seen plenty of that in past years when we had a less talented DL. It is not as much of the scheme as the play calling within it. Like I posted before, no adjustment. It is fine to rush 4 against 7 if you are getting to the QB. Some teams it may work. Why he was so dang stubborn last night, I have no clue. I think Josh keeps his hand out of the D and lets them work. However, I would have had to ask, why don't we dial up some pressure blitzes and tell him to. Regardless, he is the boss. Its not the players. It's the scheme. Trying to get to the qb with 4 against 7 blockers doesn't work. You can have an NFL secondary and when you back off or give the qb time to read war and peace while having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before he throws, the recievers win 99% of the time. When you never change your scheme and keep letting the other team gash you in every phase, you won't win. I just hope he doesn't cost Heupel his job.
There's already people saying he's our Mark Richt. You know as well as I do as progress is made, expectations rise. Fans won't be happy with 9-3, 10-2 without challenging for championships as time moves forward. Last night wasn't an anomaly. It's a pattern. If he can't get pressure with 4, he has nothing to counter. He's not multiple as Josh said they would be. His defenses are about as vanilla as can be. It's been 4 years and he's not all of a sudden become something different.ok He is not costing CJH his job. Do not be surprised if Banks gets a HC job after this year. As far as behind the 8 ball we were when he got here, he is in year 2 of 10 when compared with CMR. Ten years seem to be the lifespan of most coaches these days. I will tell you this. Danny White expects progress AND championships but he is also patient and wise and knows when is the time to move and not to move. The folks saying he is our Richt are the same who have no clue about football and coverages etc that we see on here. The only people who matter in this are not on this board. The only person who will have input on having him let go are happy and understand where we were, where we are, and where we want to go.There's already people saying he's our Mark Richt. It won't be as big of a loss that people think it is if he goes. He's OK, but he's not aggressive enough to field a top SEC defense.Do not be surprised if Banks gets a HC job after this year. Money always drives coaching changes. As long as the seats are in demand and the money's flowing, he's going nowhere. As to Banks, I'm not sure he's getting offered a head coaching job making more money than he does here. I'd be surprised if he got that big of a job.Do not be surprised if Banks gets a HC job after this year. Yep. UGA was very beat up on offense and we still couldn’t get it done. It’s just disappointing, Georgia without many key starters on OL, RB, Defense and receiver still can’t even get it within 10 points. That’s why everyone’s frustrated Vols have got to do an offseason review of some sort to make it to that elite program level. Starts with recruiting.
