I’m not sure how many listened to Pate’s podcast from Sunday.

His theory is that the SEC is in a wait and see approach with how this committee sets the playoff. He believes if Sankey feels that one “deserving” SEC program is wronged, he will form his own playoff and super league and move away from the current CFB structure.

sadly that is inevitable. this model is garbage. total horse ****.

The biggest question is why Ole Miss is ranked where they are when they have the worst two losses of the four SEC team at 8-2.

Even though the SOS would be comparable between the two, being a part of a P4 conference makes a big difference in how your viewed (Indiana vs Army).

Also, the committee is much more likely to drop a team a ton following a loss than jump a team up by a wide margin following a big win.

Just focus on our Vols taking care of business these next two weeks. This has been a crazy season of upsets and it's hard to imagine the season finishing up in a favorable way for all those teams in front of us.

Vandy was a good win according to the committee, hypothetically it should be a good win for TN. But, I know it won't matter.

Probably a bad take on my part but I’m going to ask the crowd. I feel like when we had an AD like Doug Dickey, he was highly influential and connected. It feels like the officiating woes we continually see happen to our teams amped by this ridiculous, undeserved first team out, I feel like an AD like Dickey would have nipped this narrative quickly.

Danny White has knocked it out of the park so far internally, it does feel however he isn’t respected in this good ole boy circle of college football.

Just venting and probably a bad take, I just have a hard time accepting the obvious. It felt like under Dickeys watch we were in the circle. Feels like crap being on the outside looking in.

I think Roy Kramer was more influential than Dickey...

Probably because Kiffin has a podcast with his daughter.... & their offense has put up more points. Our defense has been stellar but it seems these incredible brains don't value defensive stats.

If Tennessee wins out they should be in...... But I'm not sure the committee will make it that simple. This was exactly what I feared would happen if we lost to Georgia. All we can control is what we can control. If the committee leaves us out we know we are held to a different standard. Have to adjust accordingly for next year.
