Recruiting Football Talk VIII

As many of you know, I teach at a college in Georgia. There's a major paper due this week in one of my classes and I asked my students at the start if they had any questions before I started with the lecture. One raises his hand and asks "How 'bout them Dawgs?" I told him it was a bold play to taunt the professor the week 1/4th of your grade was due, but hey.

Sigh. I love where I teach and live except for all these UGA fans.

Oh everyone talked about how great the playoffs would be. How much easier it will be for us to get in. Parity is coming blah, blah, blah. This playoff system is an absolute joke. Along with pay to play, free agency and the dumb transfer portal rules, college football is becoming a joke.

Problem one - The SEC cannibalizes each other, and apparently, we are not recognized by this committee for being the toughest conference to play in.

Problem two - The committee should be made up of unbiased members and not chaired by a current Big 10 AD.

Problem three - Notre Dame should be out until they join a conference. Either get fully in bed with the ACC or join one of the big whatever conferences.

Yeah, I don’t understand giving up at this point..We’re #11 and gonna win out(🤞) and other teams are gonna lose in front of us..It would be different if we were outside the top 12..🤷‍♀️ Some of you all need the taser treatment.😂

How number 2 isnt ****ing common sense in a billion dollar sport is beyond me.

@Enki_Amenra you said analyze your losses? 75% of my lost bets this year were betting on the away team. Western Michigan tonight a great example. Best offense in the MAC but had 1 td tonight. OKC is another one tonight.

I'll be a lot more picky about which road teams I back going forward.
