I think he was playing chess vs checkers at that moment before Georgia. That’s what I think at that time. He chose wrong. I won’t go into why that was flawed, besides trying to out thinking Georgia. Nevermind they just came out of lose, fighting to stay in the 12 team spot, and at their home.

I'm of the opinion that the playoffs should be 16 teams, just so no one gets a bye. And there should be NO automatic bids. Take the top 16 teams, regardless of conference. And maybe use the BCS or some other formula where the decisions aren't made by a tainted committee.
