Recruiting Football Talk VIII

my favorite thing in college football right now is Michigan sign stealer Connor Stallions ending up as an assistant at the school where "the next Cam Newton" 5* QB Bryce Underwood plays. He has been a VERY IMPORTANT commit to LSU. Stallions has worked his angle there and has Underwood ready to accept some sort of crazy NIL offer to go to Michigan.

I am actually jealous of how much that guy loves Michigan. He is an agent of chaos and basically Michigan CIA.

The son of a bitch did it

One thing the basketball committee got right was moving away from the RPI/SOS metric and adding the Quad wins system.

Ranked wins is a terrible stat to compare teams when 25 is an awful place to draw the line. The reality of CFB now is that realistically the division is more like Top 15, 25-50, and then everyone else. And Homefield in CFB is arguably even more of an advantage in football than is basketball, but that’s also not taken in account.
