Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Yes, but I have never in my life heard anyone say they are going to the store for a box of Saltines. I go get a box of crackers.
Me "can you get a box of crackers at the store?"

Her "yes, what kind?"

Me "saltines. Get the ones in the blue box, if they're on sale. If they ain't.... get the Zestas."

"crackers", "chips" and "cokes" cover a lot of food and drink varieties. The only time I get specific on what I really want is if a trip to the store/Walmart is involved. Then it matters to me

Won’t agree with the roster not being great.

I think we beat Florida. Bama will depend on who they grab from the portal at QB, because they ain’t rolling Ty out there.

Dylan Sampson won us a ton of games/kept us in a ton of games and I just don’t see a current RB on the roster to help do that next year if we need it.

We’re gonna need some portal DL. Losing Omari, Lott, Pearce and I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it, I think Josephs may go as well. He’s had a better career than a lot of guys that have been drafted previously that were starters in college.
I think this is a solid analysis.

Forget trying to figure out what the committee wants, they are constantly moving the goalposts. The committee doesn't have criteria, they have justifications for why they place teams where they want/are told to put them.
That is the most infuriating part. It seems like they have no idea what they want except for b10 teams in.

Does anyone care about worst losses?

Nobody is facing bad teams in the playoffs. Even in March Madness you might run into some meh, even bad teams with the format, FCS teams, and conference tournies.

Not here. You're facing the best of the best. Can you beat them or nah?
Don’t get a chance to find out if you lose to anyone. They showing w-l matters
