Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I have an amazing wife. She grew up in the northeast, and didn’t appreciate college football when we first met. Today, my years of hard work paid off. Laying in bed, just woke up, and the first thing she says: "how is Georgia a lock for the SEC championship, and we're not part of the conversation?"

Protect her at all cost my man😂 definitely a top pick in the draft.

Agree 4&4 for us and the Big10
As it stands right now the SEC is only getting 3. And if it's tx v UGA in ATL, they're both getting in.

If aTm wins the SEC that would get 4 in.

If the acc has some carnage and it goes back to a1 big league, that could open the door for USCe or Bama.

Ther only way the big 10 doesn't get 4 is if Purdue were to beat IU or if Maryland best PSU..

And of course if we lost to vandy... USCe and Bama would probably be in play. That USCe/Clemson game next week is big. USCw/ND... If ND loses..

Longer story short.. Next week offers opportunities for more chaos...

Chaos would be Tech beating UGA and TAMU beating Texas. SECCG would be between 2 9-3 teams and loser trying to argue they deserve a shot with 4 losses

You'd have to ask.coach. Like I said, not interested in debating the merit of the strategy for that gams because there's no way to know what staying aggressive would have yielded. Just saying it seemed to have lingering effects.
You can’t just ignore the reason why we did it. We did it for a good reason…

We're going into the last game of the regular season firmly in control of our own destiny as it pertains to a playoff spot. A few breaks and we could also be playing to host. Not sure we could've asked for much more (though I did like the idea of making it to Atlanta with a chance to win the SEC).

Vanderbilt won't be a cakewalk, but as of now, I am unrustled. We survived the blow Arkansas landed and there's not going to be that "what if?" anymore. Beat Vandy and you're in. Lose, and you didn't really deserve to be in anyway.

Hope we go into Neyland West loose and ready to go punch our ticket.
