In that case, he should've been kicked off permanently for making the program look even more like dog than it already does.He was immediately suspended. The accuser recanted all her allegations weeks ago and he’s been kept away from the program until the investigation was finalized—yesterday, I think.
I understood. I just think it’s unlikely that Kirby would think beating OM and UT is somehow a given.Huh? Read my post and the one I quoted again. I was replying to a comment saying that Kirby is bringing the kid back because he is more worried about playing GT than he was about UT or Ole Miss.
My point was that he probably is bringing back the kid now to get him ready to contribute in post season play and was confident the last few weeks that UGA would make the playoffs (as he should have been with only having one loss prior to OM)....not the ridiculous notion that he is bringing him back because of being worried about GT over UT and OM.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. They just took the top three rushers. That is all it is. It sucks, but most people don't care about the Doak Walker award. There is 10000000% anti-Tennessee bias
There is no POSSIBLE way a Bama, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Ohio St, Michigan, USC, Oregon etc running back that has 1300+ yards and TWENTY TWO touchdowns while having rested in FOUR second halfs would EVER be left out.
Hope Samspon runs for 400 Saturday.
I was going to say, you can tell how they lazily sorted by rushing yards and just picked the top 3. They have absolutely no idea who anyone is in college football, they just go to ESPN.com the day before voting and pick the top 3 rushers.Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Doak Walker Award (Sampson) is now as big a joke as the Heisman (Manning)
not to mention that he's done it in a largely one dimensional offense........................................the guy is the offense for all intents and purposes. which should make it that much more impressive.....i would think anyway. There is 10000000% anti-Tennessee bias

I hope he runs for a 200 yrds and 3 TDs in the first half.....................and rests the second half because of a blow-out winThere is 10000000% anti-Tennessee bias

Are we looking at the Harvard center in the portal or is he considered to be at too low a level of competition to compete in the SEC?We haven't recruiting badly but it certainly could have been better and seems to be getting better. Portal pickups have been hit or miss but OL is one of the hardest positions to project as evidenced by how many lower ranked guys contribute across the country and higher ranked guys don't do squat.
OL recruits tend to be either "can't miss" prospects that are very highly rated 4 and 5 stars and the rest are a coin flip on how they develop, especially in the SEC with so many future NFL defensive players they go up against..
I do think I remember seeing the other day someone post that we have been potentially looking at one of their OTs to enter the portal
Hopefully their coach being fired makes that become true
It’s hard to know from the outside looking in. We don’t know how Heupel values OL versus other positions. The NIL pie is only so big and Heupel might value it a little less than some other schools. He might very well be the weakest link in recruiting but hard to know for sure. OL Is also one of the hardest positions to project to the next level. I just know Heupel is super competitive and if he thinks Ellerbee is a weak link he will make a change. It isn't him as a position coach necessarily it his him as a recruiter.
