Recruiting Football Talk VIII

But they also realize this is not the final ranking…
If this were a FB group, I wouldn't be shocked whatsoever.

The fact that this is the RF has me embarrassed the seeding and everything else has to be explained.

Think we need to kick some folks back to the FF or at least put them in FF timeout 😅🤣

This committee is garbage 🗑
What was your expectation going into tonight? We'd jump UGA after beating UTEP?

This is a great jump for us. The only risk/reward that even existed was potentially IU being left ahead of us and that notion was clearly put to bed.

This was good news in case you didn't notice. Even moreso for the weirdos that thought we'd for sure be out with 2 losses just a couple of weeks ago 😆😅🤣

Can't believe Bama loses by 3 touchdowns to a 5-5 team, earning their 3rd loss, and they still land at 14 with a chance to make the playoff.

It that had happened to the Vols we would've dropped to 20.
I mean, let’s be honest… the Vols only won by 10 in Norman, which is basically the same as losing by 30. So, really, when you think about it, that was a darn good performance by Bama on Saturday.

-the Committee, probably

Alabama better be praying about 3 teams ahead of them lose.🤣🤣🤣
If USCjr beat Clemson in a really close game and SMU got pummeled by Miami in the ACC championship, things could get really interesting.

USCjr and Bama would be praying they get the nod, and one of them could.

Ofc an ND or PSU loss would be greatly beneficial too, idk if enough but maybe.

I don’t think it’s “having faith in the committee.” It’s common sense, IMO. If Tennessee wins, you aren’t getting dropped 4 spots and out of the playoff during championship week for not playing. If we were the last team in, or even the next to last team in, I think people would have rightful concerns. But right now we’re 1 spot away from hosting. We’re comfortably in the field. They aren’t dropping us 4 spots if we just take care of business.
Don’t test them, Mookie.
