This supports my point. They got what, a total of 115 yards or whatever insulting number it was, and he’s saying they “played well”? Meanwhile, just last week he was saying the loss to Arkansas looked bad for us but was a great win for TX. The inaccuracies make 0 sense and exactly why I’m saying we want A&M to lose. The chairman just said Indiana played well, that's code for get over it their going to be in CFP playoffs.
It’s not BVS, it’s the historical hypocrisy of the committee. They’re constantly changing their criteria every damn week. If you’re looking at 11-2 A&M, 10-2 TX, 10-2 TN, and 10-3 UGA as the SEC runner up, and they debate bumping one of them over a 11-1 Indiana or God forbid 10-2 Clemson, I absolutely guarantee they’d circle our names because of some BS reason they’d trot out. They’ve done it every year either to us or some other team and it’s ridiculous.
Glad you have more faith in the committee than I do. We’ll see. I certainly hope you’re right, but who knows. And thanks for clarifying the A&M record.Well, for starters, A&M wouldn’t be 11-2. They are 8-3 right now. They’d be 10-3 at best. You can freak out all you want, but it’s win against Vanderbilt and you’re in. There were 4 SEC teams in the bracket last week. A&M winning would just make it 4 SEC teams again and the ACC or Indiana would get screwed.
Well I'd hope they're lying to herSure, they can say that now when these rankings don’t matter. But once the rubber meets the road, I will be shocked if they pair teams up unless it’s absolutely unavoidable.

I agree except all these projections assume there’s nothing crazy that happens. But if A&M runs the table and goes to and wins in Atlanta, I have zero confidence the committee rewards us and punishes TX or UGA or another non-SEC team. That’s just my thoughts. But I hope I’m wrong. However, in order to be wrong, we gotta win Saturday. So let’s hope that’s then ultimate outcome, for now!I don’t think it’s “having faith in the committee.” It’s common sense, IMO. If Tennessee wins, you aren’t getting dropped 4 spots and out of the playoff during championship week for not playing. If we were the last team in, or even the next to last team in, I think people would have rightful concerns. But right now we’re 1 spot away from hosting. We’re comfortably in the field. They aren’t dropping us 4 spots if we just take care of business.

The real question is. . . how would Bama, Ole Miss, Mizzou and A&M do vs Indiana?I mean, who deserves to be in over Indiana? One of our 3 loss teams?
How would Bama, Ole Miss, Mizzou and A&M do at Ohio St?
I mean at whose expense are they in?
They at least blew out 9 of the 10 teams they beat.
I mean how much better is SMU and Miami's resume?
