Recruiting Football Talk VIII

This is such a truly horrible disease. You watch the people who watched over you protected you and loved you like no one else can, slowly be surely disappear.
Each case is different as it affects people differently. The last 3+ years my dad was alive he wasn’t my dad. It’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced it but it robs a person of everything that makes them who they are and leaves the body for last.
I will share everyone’s prayers with him and thank you🙏🏻
Absolutely, my mom went through plateaus where she would decline, then level off then decline, then level off. She was diagnosed around 2012 and passed in 2020, right before Covid really hit. I tried to see her every day. My dad was her care giver. He would bring her to my business to pick me up for lunch almost every day.

I/dad went to several seminars put on by the Alzhiemer's Association that were very helpful and I would encourage family members to attend some. Little things that help you and the dementia patient.

According to statistics, many time the caregiver passes before the one with the condition. We enrolled my mom in a program that a church put on for dementia patients. It was sort of an adult daycare. My mom really enjoyed it because they did activities that were designed for dementia patients. Crafts and stuff like that. It was good for my mom and definitely gave my dad a break.

Will definitely be praying for you and your family.

Who else ate too much?
We had our Thanksgiving gathering at noon. And I just happened to have done something way out of the box and made a turkey lasagna (with eggplant and mushrooms) earlier tonight. It's baked, and I was going to let it rest in the frig for a day or two before diving in.

But I'm starting to think about a second-half "snack" during this Tulane game. 😂

We just have to handle Vandy. Lots of chaos can still happen.

Michigan at Ohio State
Georgia Tech at Georgia
Notre Dame at USC
Maryland at Penn State
Miami at Syracuse
California at SMU
Purdue at Indiana
Texas at A&M
Kansas State at Iowa State

I'm all about chaos and upsets outside our game.
Absolutely want chaos in every single one of these games. As long as nothing opens a door for bama to get in the playoffs. Unless they switched positions with uga. I would be onboard with pushing kirby out of the playoffs two years in a row. As long as Tennessee stays in. 😈

Darn, looks like Memphis gonna keep the AAC from potentially spoiling it for the Big 12. Unless Tulane can make a huge comeback...10 points to go.

Would have been hilarious to have 2 G5s in over the shiz Big 12.

If SMU wins the ACC, would they be the first team to win conference championships with one conference one season and different conference the next season?
They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

6 starters from Miami
2 starters from Texas
1 from Michigan
1 from OU
1 from A&M
1 from Auburn
1 from Arkansas
1 from LSU

2Deep
2 A&M
2 OU
1 TCU
1 Ark
1 UGA
