If an extra loss won’t drop them a couple spots, then why even play the championship game?

Big 12 has no effect on our seed.

SEC Championship:
- Georgia wins- Texas would just take Georgia's spot in the current bracket. No change for us.
-Texas wins- We either play Georgia at home or (more likely) on the road.

B10:
-Pedo wins- Oregon probably goes to 5. No change for us.
- Oregon wins- Probably the number one thing to root for is Oregon winning big. Penn State has played nobody. If they get blown out, small chance they drop and we play them at home or (more likely) on the road.

Does everyone still think this playoff committee is legit? Anyone paying attention knew they would get Alabama in and keep Ohio State above us. I hate too say I called it but I called it.

Don't see any scenario we move up after championship week unless Georgia or Penn State gets absolutely demolished by Texas or Oregon.

Clemson beating SMU is the only way I see Bama getting kicked out.

How quickly people forget. Chaos happens

Conference championships will be interesting in terms of how they impact the rankings. I see little to no change in rankings based on the results of the SEC and B10 championship games barring absolute blowouts. I think the committee will be afraid to send the message that going to a conference championship game can knock you out of the playoffs or knock you out of hosting if you lose it.

Alabama got blown by Oklahoma by 21 10 days ago for a third loss and they are in. There is no way they drop Georgia below us. Doesn’t matter what they lose by. Doesn’t fit their agenda. They literally have a sitting AD from Michigan leading their committee. He’s a total POS. He should run for political office.

But they've showed their hand multiple times in this process. The only way you can explain what they've done is that it's intentional.

I don't even care at this point because they've shown their cards and we'll have to fight against the scales tipped against us...... It's all we can do.

I honestly believe it came down to wanting to get Alabama in, in order to do that it came down to politics...... Our placement was the bargaining chip


And to those thinking it's going to change...... They just said it won't move the teams that don't play.
