Play calling wasn't an issue game 1 or that 1st quarter. Joe was overthrowing everyone lol. Tillman was running open all game against Ball St.

Very difficult to use that small sample size to determine anything outside of Joe needed to stay off the weights before the game.

How he would have performed the remainder of the year is anybodys guess.

So OVERTHROWING receivers has no impact on playcalling? Learn something new every day. What’s an even SMALLER “sample size” is the number of plays that Halzle is credited with calling under the vastly more accurate QB with exceedingly better decision making. All a moot point imo since Heupel has the heaviest hand in play calls no matter the named OC. I’m going to GUESS that he would’ve performed way less satisfactory than the dude who set records in two seasons of “sample sizes”. But I’m a loose cannon in this academic setting.

We've come to the Mayo clinic a couple of times now, hoping they'd find something to be able to help her. They've done tests, a small surgical procedure today looking to see with a camera if they could find something they could fix to help. Unfortunately, they just don't see anything that surgery would stop the infections, which means it's just her body not able to fight the bacteria from where they took her bladder, and use your intestine to kinda make one. It's discouraging, but God has brought her through so much, i believe there's hope.

Fun fact: William Conrad was the original Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke — that is, on the radio show that preceded the TV show.

Back in the 90s, FM 104.5 in Knoxville played old standards/Great American Songbook type of stuff, but at 10pm they'd play old time radio shows, the kind the whole country listened to before TV. Loved that stuff, listened every night. Gunsmoke was in the rotation so I listened to a lot of those episodes.

Another fun fact: Doc Adams on the radio Gunsmoke was voiced by Howard McNear, who later achieved legend status on TV as Floyd the Barber.

We called like 12 go balls in those 5 quarters so I would also ASSUME his over-throws had no effect on playcalling if we kept dialing it up. If he made bad reads, threw to the wrong WRs, or turned the ball over then I would agree play calling we definitely be affected.

Joe's play wasn't good those 5 quarters, we all agree. His eyes and decision making was good, he just didn't execute. That's 100% on Joe.

The narrative last year's offense was struggling was solely on Joe (not saying you saying that, maybe you are. Hell idk lol), I don't buy that. Joe's play definitely played a big role (he was okay not great) but he had help.

Regardless, I think we all agree Nico and company will be more in line with 2022 than 2023. Looking forward to the 31st.

There’s always hope. And GOD has this. She’s made it through so many pokes and prodding, she’s an inspiration to us all. She’s been through so much and her body defeated every obstruction thrown her way and your family’s. Y’all have this, I have no doubt, because you’ve got GOD, your family and your friends on your side. Please tell her this for me. She’s one strong fighter. As I said, you have my number if you guys need anything.
