He did say they would possibly adjust the teams that are playing depending on the outcome of the games. So a lot of room for interpretation there. They could move down depending on the result.

Just gotta hope for B2A from Oregon and Texas and Clemson to beat SMU. They’ll have to adjust us at least +1 if those 3 win or there should be a class action lawsuit against this committee. Unfortunately I think they keep Alabama in no matter what.

This is correct. Only teams that offer another data point will be evaluated and could move.

He also brought up TCU who lost their conference title game and stayed at 3.

If the games go chalk no one will move.

Only major blowouts, injuries or upsets could create movement.

Penn state beating Oregon would create movement but not enough for us to host.

Clemson SMU does nothing.

Texas beating UGA does nothing. UGA beating Texas would move UGA up and Texas down a little but not behind OSU or us. Likely UGA and Texas would just switch.

Arizona Iowa State doesn’t matter.

We need Penn State to get blasted.

Then Tennessee will be like Gonzaga in College Basketball. Dominating a sucky conference and still make tournament.

Gonzaga doesn't play a conference schedule against only winless teams. I wasn't entertaining the notion of playing in a weak conference. I was entertaining a poster's notion of wanting every other SEC team to go winless (an impossible situation by the way). If we played in a conference where every other team is 0-12 we would never make it to any playoffs even if we were undefeated.

Florida definitely overpaying for the class. AP suggested they’re overpaying kids by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
