Even if they bump Bama out now (and they will not), Bama’s 3 losses didn’t matter all the sudden. (Rules changed.) And they were put back in the playoffs… exactly…

… for the week of Early Signing Day.

Bama fans wanted to fire DeBoer. Dissension and blaming in the locker room. Danger that some of their commits might flip or delay in order to reconsider their choices. TX, GA, and TN taking a very public step above Bama as this new era debuted.

Committee put the fire out.

ND, Boise st, Indiana and whoever wins the Big12 championship, the ACC champ...thats 5 playoff teams out of 12. Almost half, that lined up on a neutral field would get BEAT DOWN by

Most of those teams would get beat down by 2 or more TDs. A couple would get blown out because they simply cannot move the ball or score vs a decent SEC defense. Not to mention the 3 SEC teams that ARE in the playoffs...any of UT, UGA, or texas would wreck these teams worse than the 3 teams listed above.

The current format with the byes and auto qualifiers is ridiculous. Its better than last years 4 team playoff though, because there are 6 teams with a legit chance to win it all IMO. We can beat any of them if the offense shows up ...but i think Oregon is probably the worst matchup for us. Then UGA second worst.
