Just wait till year 3 and 4. You're in the honeymoon phase where they make everyone feel good and care about growing. Their goal is to unload it at a profit by year 5. The industry term "PE year 4" exists for a reason. My company was just bought by a PE firm. We are hiring and growing our business. We have bought more capital equipment and are spending more on building upgrades and repairs than we have in the past 4 years under a publicly traded corporate owner.
I find it usually not good to paint any large group with too broad a brush. For every bad PE firm out there that is ruthless and cut throat and buy businesses to milk the for as much profit as they can before selling them, there are others that want to grow business and increase their value so that they make their money at the sale. Broad brush painting usually leads down a rough road.
If I had real money like some of the folks on VN have...I would get out of this place as soon as possible and go to a developing country that nobody gives a crap about and chill fir the rest of my days. The state of Veracruz. It's absolutely gorgeous. Much of it, you'd think you are in CR, Panama, etc... But please don't tell anyone. We need it to remain a hidden gem.
We drove through a banana/coffee plantation and then hiked down to this last time we were there:

Tecolutla is beautiful and relaxing.

Chachalacas is absolutely empty during the week, and also has dunes adjacent to the beach for those that like moto-playing.

There’s an old saying, something about Jimmy’s & Joe’s.Three legs. All required. None more important than the other. aTm is a fine example of talent without the other 2 legs. I would far rather be where we are than where they are. With that said, top 5 year after year would be delightful.
I'm not anti-recruiting, just saying that it isn't a panacea.
So...you throw out the extremes to make a stupid ass point. I'm not against progress, but my definition of progress and the idiocrats that are ruining everything definition of progress is 1000% different. You prefer regressive state entities like modern Russia, Hungary, NK, etc that want to go back 100 years? Have fun with that.
Time only goes in 1 direction.
I feel hatred bubbling up...mock away dummy. You first to Uganda We'll see who's better off.
Or maybe I'll move to Sweden, Luxembourg, Norway, Canada, plenty of options.
Have fun in Russia, Saudia Arabia, North Korea, and the other *** backwards countries that drool over perverted "tradition".
Also sure you'd love to see 2024 USA as if we still lived in 1800...hopefully you're lucky enough to be of just the right stock
Diphenhydramine is the WORST! It gives me horrible dreams, then I'm wide awake after 3 hours and can't sleep the rest of the night. What are you all's favorite sleep supplements?
I've heard magnesium helps.
Don't love melatonin due to a bit of grogginess, but it's fine and may try again. And I HATE diphenhydramine.
I would seriously consider that if I knew where to look, and was sure my family would be safe and comfortable. If I had real money like some of the folks on VN have...I would get out of this place as soon as possible and go to a developing country that nobody gives a crap about and chill fir the rest of my days.
Jimmy's and Joe's can and do also come from evaluation and development, that isn't exclusively the domain of recruiting service ratings. There’s an old saying, something about Jimmy’s & Joe’s.
The teams at the top of that recruiting list have the overwhelming number of CFP appearances, and titles - it has something to do with Jimmy’s & Joe’s.
It usually takes all 3, but sometimes the Jimmy’s & Joe’s are more important than.. something, something.
Larry Corker was not a great coach. He won with a loaded roster he inherited.
I've taken melatonin for a looong time. I started taking some Lion's Mane and noticed I was sleeping better. Wasn't my interest, but turns out it's good for that. What are you all's favorite sleep supplements?

I’m trilled with our coaching and development, I want the elite recruiting too, which we continue to build towards - because the numbers overwhelmingly show you need it to reach the top.Jimmy's and Joe's can and do also come from evaluation and development, that isn't exclusively the domain of recruiting service ratings.
You choose to value the rating over coaching and development, and I'll continue to be happy with solid recruiting and great coaching. Since we're recruiting pretty well lately, doesn't sound like either of us will be unhappy.
