Of course Pearce would be excited to play for ONE of the best Franchises in NFL.

I for one would love to see a Pearce/Parsons combo on the Dallas D. But the Franchise? Jerry is doing a good job of keeping Dallas down.

I've always thought he looked smaller than most NFL DE

There are a lot of DEs his size in the League. He reminds a lot of Lawrence Taylor. I'm not saying he is the greatest defensive player of all time, just that he reminds me of him.

He just looks so skinny. Parsons looks massive, Pearce looks smaller than a lot of linebackers. Maybe he just carries the weight differently.

Pearce is lanky
Parsons is more compact.

Def could’ve been the case, I dont analyze the film afterwards but what I do know is they were ineffective and got worked.

Oline positions are the hardest to project and develop. Not only do they have grow physically develop technique, but the amount of knowledge required is immense. Most people do not realize what all goes into making a good offensive lineman.

Well said. The really good ones tend to be some of the smartest guys on the roster. In our system the center is the second most important position on offense behind the quarterback. Obvious every time Cooper was out. We did load up on OL in 23 recruiting so hopefully some of them are ready. It does seem likely we will need one or two from the portal but that seems manageable. Hard to lead the SEC in rushing if your OL coach sucks?

A lot of schools already have this. Tennessee football has a whole department of recruiting operations I know that.

You know he's been thinking about this a while. He didn't just write up a 400 page list of demands in 2 weeks, .

I feel like he wants to make them tell him no, instead of him publicly saying no. I wonder if he comes up with something else to throw at them if they say yes? I'd tell him OK, just to see what he does next.

No position group has to be smarter, heck some position you can be an idiot and do well, not oline. Once a long time ago, Coach was discussing a play with a running back who was confused and the kid says "But I thought...". Coach says "That's your damn problem son, you're thinking. Let those fat boys in front of you do the thinking, you just hit the hole."

I think its all just a ploy to get back in to NFL coaching, by bluffing being interested in coaching college to get an NFL team to bite before he gets away.

Lol. How much time could he have while dating a 20 year old? I just find this whole thing odd and maybe just a way to get his son the job down the road.
