Recruiting Football Talk VIII

LOL I'd wager the GDP of Tennessee is more than triple SC.
People are behind the times. The midstate push has made TN much more competitive in many ways.

Meanwhile SC has....? Minor league teams and regional airports? How cute. Even when people mention "Carolina"...no one is thinking of them 😅

IMG_5663.jpegIMG_5664.jpegWhoo boy these Ohio State fans are salty. Like getting their ass beat by Michigan every year levels of salt. Their tears are so so tasty and I’m keeping ALL the receipts. We may only finish 5th in the SEC this year, but that would be good enough for 1st in their Mickey Mouse conference 😂

If not for Charleston/Myrtle Beach, I don't think they'd have much of anything bringing money to the state.

LOL that kids should want to go against the toughest competition in practice, not in games.

lol you caught that too. What an asinine comment by a dumb fan base. They are coping so hard. Like is that how they rationalize being in such a bad conference? That kids want to come to OSU to practice??! The pure utter delusion is off the charts here. Kids come to TN because we are a playoff contender and we play the best competition in the country every year multiple times a year.

According to Sportico, the Dallas Cowboys have become the first sports franchise valued above $10 billion. In its annual valuations of NFL teams, Sportico lists the Cowboys at $10.32 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Rams at $7.79 billion. Rounding out the top 5 are NY Giants ($7.65B) NE Patriots ($7.31B) and SF 49ers ($6.86B).

You would think that it would be tied to winning. But not so much… 😳

With Sanders commit today, what do people think we still need to add to this class? Offensively, I think we need another RB, and I'd like to add another OT if we could find a good fit. Really wanted Juan Gaston. Hopefully the staff continue to talk with him and tries for a flip. Defensively, I think another Edge and LB would be good. I've also wondered if we need another safety with all the reported troubles at the position from camp. And it seems like CRG would like to add another DL. I'm never opposed to adding to our lines. Given what we lose after this season, I've been thinking DL would be a priority in the portal.

When will we know if scholarships are going to 105 next year?

Interesting. With Vandy not being competitive, I don't have much dislike. But definitely abhore the others. Fl. Is the most disliked for me.
I used to feel the same as you about Candy. I used to read about Coach Cafegos burning pure hatred of them and could not understand..until the mid 2000s-2010s, especially the Franklin years...NOW I get it.

Vandy is a special kind of pond scum eating bacteria...I straight up hate them, and I want to destroy them 100-0 without mercy in every sport, in every season until time itself ends.

Cry more. This is the reason Saban stepped away too.

Sorry guys, everyone can pay for players now, and you don't get to stash great players for 3 years just because the rules won't let them leave.

Jackass

Saban: Other teams being allowed to pay players like I have always done at AL "destroys parity."

Kirby: I call it "the deterioration of football."

🙄 😂🥳
