I didn't have a choice but to go with the Florida strain, only 3 places within 2 hours of me to get them and they all had the same fish. Owen and Williams is where I ended up getting them from and they've been doing it since the early 80s, so I felt pretty good about using them. That's pretty interesting though, I figured a bass was a bass and some just grow bigger than others according to where they were, southern grow bigger faster and northern grow smaller and slower. Shows how little I know.

There are people who convert religions to get married. Fanhood conversion should be negotiated up front. Those of you with daughters need to specify to any young man who asks for their hands that being a Vol fan is a must. That when they say, "I do", they're giving up any previous fanhood and agreeing to be a Vol.

I got some pork steaks (pork butt sliced), so I'm smoking those with meat church honey hog and voodoo, and a third one with a local BBQ joint rub. Going to see which is best. Might try the bacon one if you give it a good review on ribs.

I have converted the lady’s parents to Volhood. Everybody must abide by my level of success

Try having a third generation Vandy fan and grad school alum as your dotted-line boss for a decade. They combine the characteristics of arrogance, delusion and spineless panty-waisted pandering to create a vacuum of actual humanity or leadership.

And their fandom progeny, the Vandy fans who also pretend to cheer for UT or Bama where they aren't totally irrelevant in sports conversations, are even worse.
