Recruiting Football Talk VIII

It’s more honey than bacon to me. Honey hog still my favorite
I've got a bunch of MC in my cabinet. Haven't busted out the Voodoo yet, but looking forward to it. Do like the Honey Hog quite a bit. Lane's also makes some pretty good rubs.

Honey hog is my fave for pork. Voodoo on chicken. The gospel for smash burger. I also have his Blanco that’s solid. The Texas sugar I like too

Here’s the color I always shoot for. Took almost 3 hours today. Little burn on both ends, mostly due to the size of my smoker (little one)

I've never been to either one, and feel like I'm missing out. I think we'll visit Savannah for a long weekend in a year or two. BIL was raving about the restaurants there the other night and he eats in New Orleans alot like we do, so we were all ears. I've been to Sea Island.
When I was a kid, my great grandparents lived in Statesboro. We'd go to my papaw's for summer vacation. We'd drive down to Savanah for a day trip, usually to the beach. Savanah was just an hour from Statesboro but I remember it being much hotter, like surface of the sun hot. I dreaded that yearly Savanah beach trip.

My wife and I went to Charleston 19 yrs ago and I've wanted to go back. My oldest was 10 months old at the time and sight seeing is tough when you've got a little one. I do have a cool pic of him walking on the runway of the aircraft carrier at Patriot Point
