Tennessee has lost 21 state road games against top 10 teams. The last win against a team ranked 10 or higher on the road was 2006.

Road game? What does that have to do with this game. We beat a top ten team at home this year. We are gonna do it again against Blowhio. Neyland North will be rockin'.

We also beat a top 10 team (Clemson) in a neutral site. Sure it’s not a true road game but yeah. Also in 2022 LSU did finish top 10 so technically we did beat a top 10 team on the road

The number of people responding to Tweets about this series with “all the blue bloods/good SEC teams …and Missouri….passed on it” are seriously missing what it means to be an elite program.

Georgia and Alabama are blue bloods, Texas and Oklahoma are big brands, Ole Miss is meh….the teams who are in the series are more prominent IMO than the ones who aren’t.

More than a hot swinging clothing iron to the face?

I have actually been club punched with a cold clothes iron. House keg party age ~18 or 19. Beat up a guy earlier in the night at a huge multi-keg house party at a friend of a friends house... found out later after the incident that he was 1 of 4 guys that actually shared the house. Saw a bright flash of light coming straight at my face and managed to turn my head in time (thank you Lord). He caught the side of my head instead of my grill...it split my ear in half from the center hole all the way down to the bottom of my earlobe. Like someone had cut my ear in half with tin snips or commercial scissors lmao. Fortunately a buddy standing next to me pushed him back off of me and gave me a second to get my bearings (it didnt knock me out...probably from the braindamage already there from HS football lol). Buddy bought me enough time to keep him from getting a 2nd shot on me before i dove on him and took him to the ground. We left soon after and I drove my gf and I to the ER while she tried to keep pressure on my stupid ear. FWIW....ears bleed like a sumbitch just like noses bleed. I am sure the alcohol didnt help, but there was a lot of blood in the car etc. I still have a scar running from my earhole to the bottom of my ear 25 years later.

4/10 do not recommend getting blindsided with a clothes iron. Very thankful it didnt cost me an eye or ruin my face permanently...

Cool story. Do you know Clausens stats from the 2001 and 2003 games? Let’s see.

2001- 17/25 168 yards 1 TD and 2 INTs

2003- 12/23 235 yards 1 TD and 1 INT

So in the two big wins many fans attribute to Clausen, he threw 2 TDs and 3 INTs. In 2001, we won 34-32. Clausen accounted for 7 points. In 2003, we won 24-10. Again he accounted for 7 points. So those combined games the “iceman” accounted for 14 out of 58 points.

Tell me again how Clausen “beat” UF. You and others need to learn what a team game is. He was not the main reason we beat UF in 2001 and 2003. In 2001, Stephen’s drained the swamp. He wa the main reason we won in 2001. In 2003, again it was the running game and a great defense. Just like this year.

Would you say Nico beat UF this year?
No you wouldn’t. He was part of it. But we won because of great defense and an elite run game. Just like in 2001 and 2003. Lear some history before you act like an idiot.

Buddy you really need to get a dog or something so you can have a discussion on your own level. Of course Clausen beat Florida and Nico beat Florida and Alabubba. Same as Patton beat the Germans. You are possibly the most obtuse person in the history of Volnation and I post on here.

December 19, 1961......Reggie White birth


Reggie White was born in Chattanooga and went to Howard HS. As a Senior, he had 140 tackles and 10 sacks, being named All-American.

At Tennessee, Reggie had a stellar career that makes him one of the most beloved players in Volunteer history. 201 solo tackles, 32 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, and 4 fumble recoveries are just a few of his accolades. His senior year, White was a consensus All-American and SEC player of the year.

He is also a member of both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.
