Heup can’t recruit started from a salty UCF fan base. No one really knew, kind of hard to recruit when you’re the 5th best program in your state. And if we’re being real, if I’m a mid major prospect out of po-dunk Florida I’m choosing Boca Raton over Orlando. So 6th best for guys like me.

We are really lucky to have the dl we have this year, the fact we will be able to get pressure on the qb rushing 4, as well as the do being stout in the run game will be huge to have our lb’s help in pass defense

I suppose. Being in Alabama with another state school that's not bad at football....I wouldn't expect them to
be so high in the rankings as they are fie 2025.

Like alot kids from the 2023 team, thought his play regressed from what he did in 2022. Was banged up too so that didn't help. He would be starting or at worse in the rotation if he stayed.

I remember him not playing enough in 2022. I think early on Wesley was good. I remember him being really good against USCjr.

Ok...I think Heupel is a good recruiter that does not use the high pressure system, and is kinda choosy about players he goes all in on...and I think our myriad issues had more to do with recruiting than anything else.

This season goes well and recruiting will get even better.

I'm going to give him the credit he deserves for taking a garbage strewn, burned out wasteland and turning it into a 5* world renowned resort.
