Some if y'all acting like if Georgia, Alabama and others in SEC getting into CFP helps Vols in the end. Well for the last 20 years it hasn't helped Tennessee at all in recruiting or anything else. The window lickers for the whole SEC are finally showing their spots.

Tennessee or nothing for myself,to hell with the rest..
👍👍👍 !!!!!

People are slow boiled into believing total BS is true all the time.

We are winning at a high level now because we are doing our thing our way in all sports again. All of it starts at the top from the state into Randy Boyd's office and down through the ranks.

I don't want a world where Indiana doesn't get in, and you take the 12 "best teams".

I mean think about that.

To Indiana: It doesn't matter that you play in a major conference, and it doesn't matter even if you go undefeated. Your recruiting talent composite is too low to ever be considered a top 12 team.

To Bama: It doesn't matter you went 8-4. You beat a couple of good teams, and your talent composite means you will be favored by a few teams in the playoff field, and won't be a massive dog against anyone. So you get in.

**** that world. The rankings are fine. Just lose the auto bids and seed the teams according to the rankings. That's it. I'm fine with them weighing SOS a little bit more heavily, but I don't want to see them get so swept up in SOS that teams are eliminated because they start the season without enough 4-5 stars on the roster.
Also, in preseason rankings, Bama, Texas, Ohio State always get the big boost to start. Most of us have to claw our way up the rankings to get a spot.
