NIL helps, but for elite recruits, they are going to get their money, nearly anywhere they go. I'd say, basically NIL is the cost of a seat at the table, and then you need to out-recruit everyone at the table.I'd wager it's more (C) our NIL kicked into gear.
If that were true then David S. would have went to Ohio State. Something has changed around the program and I’m leaning more into we have had culture buy-in for a few years now and now it’s starting to get national attention. When is the last time you read an interview of a commit or even potential recruit that didn’t mention the family culture as a main draw for them? That kind of thing doesn’t happen overnight. It can’t be bought, sold or created but it can be grown. I think recruits are looking at what CJH has grown here and they can’t help but get invested in it.
