Which is why priority #1 imo is to work to create fewer vets to begin with. Not talking WW type scenarios, but fighting over oil or BS...just hell no. Tell all the rich politicians "you first" and we'll see how their solution suddenly changes to foreign wars not directly involving us.

The heinous thing is that the military is largely filled with people from poorer backgrounds who either serve to afford education, serve as a career to get better than their parents had, or both. So, war really does become the children of the poor dying to make the rich richer.

Yes. If the roster numbers stay at 85, we can only be at 83 next season. But if the raise the scholarship cap to 105, we can have 103. Just depends on whether or not they raise that cap to 105.

Pretty sure they said that isn't happening until necks year.

Great movie. Dicaprio had another movie that same year that overshadowed it, but I think it ended up being the better movie. . . I cant remember the name of the other one.

(Edit: or maybe it wasnt better. . . the other movie was "Gangs of New York")

Question... Whay happened over the offseason? Did (A) Heupel finally finish reading "CFB Recruiting for Dummies"? Or (B) the NCAA shadow pass from over UT?

Neither. Our recruiting has gone up every season.

Recruits wants to see success and we've shown them, averaging 10 wins a season the last 2 years.

Our NIL and QB run haven't hurt perceptions either

Exactly what I got in HS. I spent 95 cents a day on crackers and milk (easy way to keep the 6 pack going back then too)...at the end of the week I had 15 bucks for CDs, a movie, and Funscape arcade at the mall

That was peak West Towne Mall right there...even had a teen dance night and all us 16 YOs ate it up on Friday nights because we couldn't get into Cotton Eyed Joe's or Liquid yet lmao

It's only a poor choice of words for someone who doesn't know what "cannon fodder" is (and thus didn't realize that I was defending the soldiers), and it'd only be bad timing if I was dumping on soldiers instead of arguing against the system that caused the loss.
