Don’t want Nico to bail, just want him to step up his game and ball out. Year 3 is when Hyatt stepped up, Sampson, Wright, etc. you’re established, you understand the grind & ya got a year of film. Go do the offseason work and cut the noise. He plays better and it hides any WR or even OL concerns.

FTR. I would love for Mike Matthews to be in Orange next year but letting players hold the teams "hostage" and making demands is way past ridiculous (I'm not saying MM is but other players in the CFP are). I don't know the answer but to keep giving in and letting the players dictate how the team is managed is not good and will destroy everything Heupel is trying to build. NIL sucks and getting control of these college aged players, needs to be the next step.

I understand but have you seen the WR room, with zero commits from the portal set to take part in spring practice aka Nico’s most important spring to date. Give the kid what he wants, hell give him Bru’s Maybach if he wants it.

Nico did not visit any other school. He has been actively recruiting players thinking about entering the portal to Tennessee.

Nico’s dad and Staley’s dad basically said they’re all vol. We good. Mike ain’t going anywhere. Staff held on to everyone they wanted and the ones in the portal were basically trimmed fat.

So…rumor has it Nico and his dad met with Heupel yesterday to discuss the OL and WR as they both aren’t happy with it (both being nico and his dad). Also, apparently Nico visited Miami and Oregon during the season

I know this is a rumor, but is this not considered tampering?

90/10 he stays. He was not able to meet with coaches prior to deadline due to family commitments etc. He wanted his paperwork in as a backup. They met today and made progress. He has reasonable concerns and isn’t holding anyone hostage. Let it play out.

Some seriously falling for a poster who said Nico found time during the actual football season to fly to and tour Miami and Oregon... the two schools on opposite sides of the country... and nobody knew about it and he wasn't photographed or spotted. But anonymous poster on forum has the scoop on this information AND the secret, disgruntled meeting between Nico's fam and Heupel.
